Where do we come from? How did the universe begin?why is the universe the way it is? How will it end?
Sll my life, i have been fascinated by the big questions that face us, and have tried to find scientific answers to them.If, like me, you have looked at the stars, and tried to make sense of what you see, you too have started to wonder what makes the universe eist. The questions are clear, and deceptively simple. But the answers have always seemed well beyond our reach. until now.
The ideas which had grown over two thousand years of observation have had to be radically revised. In less than a hundred years, we have found a new way to think of ourselves. From sitting at the center of the universe, we now find ourselves orbiting an average-sized sun, which is just one of millions of stars in our own milky way galay. And our galay itself is just one of billions of galaies, in a universe that is infinite and epanding. But this is far from the end of a long history of inquiry.Huge questions remain to be answered, before we can hope to have a complete picture of the universe we live in.
I want you to share my ecitement at the discoveries,past and present, which have revolutionized the way we think. From the big bang to black holes, from dark matter to a possible big crunch, our image of the universe today is full of strange sounding ideas, and remarkable truths. The story of how we arrived at this picture is the story of learning to understand what we see.
As is vividly depicted in the picture, many young people are standing together when they find that there are so many ways to go.Thus,all of them are stopping there and waiting for help. Obviously, it is the shortage of confidence for their future that makes it impossible for them to get the attainment they want to.
Simple as it is, what the picture conveys to us is thought-provoking. With the development of economy and society, competition is increasingly fierce and there are more and more chance for us to get. But it is impossible for the ones to achieve attainments if the ones have no striving spirit to surmount the difficulties. Hence, people in mounting numbers put great emphasis on the striving spirit. In fact, it has been universally acknowledged that the ability of fighting is the most essential qualification that anyone who wants to achieve success should possess.
To my way of thinking,the problem that all of the college are just stopping and waiting but no fighting and thinking will generate severe consequences .Measures should be adopted before things get worse. It is high time that all of us ,parents, educators,and the authorities, make combined efforts to make young people change their outlook of life and acquire determined spirit. Only by this way is it reasonable for us to believe that this problem can be perfectly solved in the near future.
This picture is really thought provoking. As is vividly shown in the above picture, a book is lying above the grass and beautiful flowers. Beside it, there is a topic thatsays:“reading”. There is no denying that the picture implies that reading is of utmost importance to us.
Considering every aspect of it, we may attribute its significance to three factors. First of all, reading can broaden our horizon, widen our knowledge and eich our experience. Besides, reading is to success what water is to a fish. It can put us in a favorable position in the job market. Last but not least, if all of us are willing to read more and extensively, our society will be more progressive and prosperous.
From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that reading is indispensable in our daily life. Therefore, the mass media, such as
television, Internet and radio, should try best to propaganda and advocate it. As
for ourselves, we should take practical actions to enhance our awareness of reading. Then, we have every reason to be convinced that we can have a bright future and a beautiful world.

Why dose this phenomenon take placeThere are generally three factors accounting for it. First and foremost, due to the fast economic and social development, people enjoy a sharp improvement in their living standards. Accordingly, they can afford to buy computers and mobile phones: the common tools for shopping online. Besides, e-shopping is extremely convenient and efficient. It is available 7/24 and this means people can buy what they want anytime without going out. Last but not least, the price of the goods online is much lower than those in the stores, which greatly caters to the consumer’s needs.
From what has been discussed above, we can predict that the turnover of online shopping will continue to increase at an alarming rate and it will give a huge boost to our national economy. However, we should also be aware of its drawbacks, such as fake commodities, personal financial security, illegal ads and so on. Thereby, we should take a reasonable and scientific attitude towards it.

not all human behavior fossilizes. the words i utter and you hear as vibrations in the air are certainly human changes in the material world and may be of great historical significance. yet they leave no sort of trace in the archaeological records unless they are captured by a dictaphone or written down by a clerk. the movement of troops on the battlefield may change the course of history, but this is equally ephemeral from the archaeologists standpoint. what is perhaps worse, most organic materials are perishable. everything made of wood, hide, wool, linen, grass, hair, and similar materials will decay and vanish in dust in a few years or centuries, save under very eceptional conditions. in a relatively brief period the archaeological record is reduce to mere scraps of stone, bone, glass, metal, and earthenware. still modern archaeology, by applying appropriate techniques and comparative methods, aided by a few lucky finds from peat-bogs, deserts, and frozen soils, is able to fill up a good deal of the gap.
